The Olivia WebRing is designed to be a collection of pages mainly featuring Olivia Newton-John. The only requirement is that your page features Olivia, and you insert our ring's HTML fragment onto the registered page, and contains nothing extremely offensive (it is rated at 13+ with Webring). The ring gets you more exposure and hits, and is a lot of fun to be part of. One linked page per Web author/site please unless there's a particular reason. Take a a look at the sites that are already in the ring for an idea of how it works. Or take a look at my ring site from which you'll be able to navigate the ring. Olivia Webring requirements -

To join the Olivia web ring the linked page should fit these requirements -

• Please make the registered site one which accesses mostly ONJ content
• Add the webring 'ring fragment' (see below) to the registered page
• one link per site 'theme' is all that's usually needed.
• if there is material or financial gain from traffic brought into or routed out of your site then you can join the webring only if you share all the proceeds with all the ring members :-)

That's about it - if you'd like to add your site to the ring, read on... It doesn't cost you anything other than the initial work to add the webring element to the registered page. Webring gain their financial support from banner ads on the index of sites page and the next 5 list. They don't change your registered page.

The Ring Fragment

(This section is pitched for webmasters who would like to join the ring - you don't need to know all this stuff to browse it :-)

The ring fragment produces the navigation section which you can see at the bottom of the page which allows people browsing to navigate the ring. Please add this to the registered page within three days of subscribing - without it the Ring is broken since it needs all sites to have this navigation element.

The HTML code for this will be automatically generated by the system and shown to you in an email you get when you nominate your Web site for the ring. Existing members can check it at any time by filling in the Site Update form which generates a page which has the ring fragment on it. That's about all there is to it!
